A dedicated server is a server owned by 5points for your exclusive use. It provides the flexibility to host your website or other application requiring significant resources, such as those running JAVA or using streaming media, without the hassles of ownership. We specialize in servers using the Linux operating system to provide fast, secure, and reliable service for our hosting customers but can also provide servers running other operating systems. 5points offers dedicated servers starting at $125/month. Bandwidth is a separate charge. We charge $3/GB transferred/month, with a minimum of 10GB/month for colocated and dedicated server customers. For customers requiring 100 GB or more/month, please call for special pricing. We also offer management services and tape rotation for dedicated server customers. 5points can analyze your server and bandwidth needs and recommend a range of solutions that will best address your requirements. Our servers include the following software in the standard installation. Other software is available on request.
